Veterans Day

"Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn't pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same." (Ronald Reagan)

My pastor posted these quotes on Facebook; these are wise words, well worth passing along.  It's never too early to teach our children the importance of preserving the liberties we enjoy in this country.  America is certainly not perfect; as a nation we have many faults. But we also have freedoms that are denied to some people in other parts of the world. 
It's not too early to teach our children to appreciate the men and women of the armed services who risk their lives to keep us free. As the saying goes, "Freedom isn't free."
