A Blast from the Past

Things change.
Clothing styles change.
Music changes.
Innovations in technology change our way of life.
People grow up. People grow old. Friends move in and out of our lives.
In the 1960's telephones had rotary dials. Color TV was just beginning to replace black-and-white shows, and the internet had not yet been invented.

On this 60th day of school, we took the opportunity to explore the meaning of "past, present, and future." Early Childhood students still have a sketchy concept of the past, but hopefully our '60's day helped them understand how lifestyles were different in the past and how technology and innovation has changed our lives.

In a world that's constantly changing, it's comforting to know there is Someone who will never change.
God's character does not change. His love for us remains constant. His good plans for our future are the same as they have been since the beginning of time.

"Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and lforever." (Hebrews 13:8 ESV)
