Icy Habitats

We're building an icy Antarctic habitat for these penguins.
"And who do you think is the father of rain and dew, the mother of ice and frost. You don't for a minute imagine these marvels of weather just happen, do you?" Job 38:28-30 MSG

The kindergartners have been learning about ice and snow and about the Arctic and the Antarctic. They're studying about the animals that live in the frigid regions of the Arctic and the Antarctic, and they're learning how these animals' bodies are designed to thrive in their icy environments.

As we study the amazingly intricate way that living things grow and thrive on earth, we can't help but praise our wonderful Creator.

"For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities--His eternal power and divine nature--have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse." Romans 1:20
A layer of blubber helps animals such as seals stay warm when they swim in icy water.

We're building igloos, like the snow houses built by people in the Arctic regions of Canada.

We built a train. Is it the Polar Express?
