Going Batty

We've been going going batty over...bats.

And that's not all we've been learning. As a follow-up to last week's science lesson on energy, we did some investigations into sound, light, and heat energy.

It sounds high.

It makes a low sound.

The cymbals can be loud!

We're investigating light.

Heat energy changes solids--ice, butter, and solid coconut oil--into liquids.

In math, we're studying geometry.

Sorting by shape...

by color...

and by size.

 

And another special event....someone lost a tooth!
