Mrs. Kemp's class is officially 101 days smarter. We celebrated with a 101 Dalmatians Day. We brought collections of 101 items. We counted to 100 by 2's, 5's, 10's, and 25's. We learned all about the Hundred Chart and imagined what we would be doing at age 101. At snack time, we counted out 25 raisins, 25 chocolate chips, 25 mini marshmallows, and 25 oreo-flavored cereal bites.
Our kids didn't mind being in the doghouse. And Cruella deVil's lookalike even made an appearance.
