Joys of Spring

Microgreens are ready to eat.

Strawberries are in season.

It's almost Easter.

Our Easter Crafts help us remember how Jesus died and rose again.
We're learning new sight words.
When you put a seed into the ground, it doesn’t grow into a plant unless it dies first. 37 And what you put in the ground is not the plant that will grow, but only a bare seed of wheat or whatever you are planting. 38 Then God gives it the new body he wants it to have." I Corinthians 15:36 (NLT)

Spring is teeming with new life. It's fascinating to watch new plants bursting out of tiny seeds and stretching up towards the sky. It's amazing that such a tiny speck of a seed could become a strawberry plant or a watermelon vine or a tree. Observing this wonder of creation reminds us that we, too, can have new life in Christ. We too, can have eternal life in Christ, for as we celebrate Easter, we remember that Jesus has the power over life and death.

For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance[a]: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures.I Corinthians 15:3-5 NIV)
